Duolin Respules is a combination medicine which is used to relieve symptoms such as wheezing, shortness of breath, chest tightness, breathing difficulties, coughing, etc. caused by chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). This medicine is not recommended for use in patients less than 12 years of age.

Alcohol CAUTION Duolin Respules may cause excessive drowsiness with alcohol. warnings Pregnancy WEIGH RISKS VS BENEFITS Duolin Respules may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the fetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. - How to use:
- Use this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Twist off the top of the respule/transpule and squeeze all the liquid into the nebulizer. It should be used right away after opening.
- How it works:
- Duolin Respules is a combination of two medicines: Levosalbutamol/Levalbuterol and Ipratropium. Levosalbutamol/Levalbuterol is a bronchodilator while Ipratropium is an anticholinergic. They work by relaxing the muscles in the airways and widen the airways. Together, they make breathing easier.
